Description

The PPH/PPR pipe production line is a specialized manufacturing system designed to produce PPR (polypropylene random copolymer) pipes and PPH (Polypropylene Homopolymer) pipe.

What’s the difference between PPR pipe and PPH pipe?
1. Material Composition:
PPR pipes are made from a type of polypropylene known as random copolymer. This material is designed to offer a balance of properties, including high-temperature resistance, good chemical resistance, and excellent impact strength.

PPH pipes, on the other hand, are made from polypropylene homopolymer, which consists of a single type of propylene monomer. PPH exhibits high rigidity, good resistance to high temperatures, and excellent chemical resistance.

2. Temperature Resistance:
PPR pipes are known for their excellent heat resistance, making them suitable for both hot and cold water distribution systems. They can withstand temperatures up to 70-95°C, depending on the specific grade and manufacturer specifications.

PPH pipes also offer high-temperature resistance and can withstand temperatures up to 100-110°C, making them suitable for applications involving hot water and certain chemical conveyance systems.

3. Chemical Resistance:
PPR pipes exhibit good resistance to a wide range of chemicals, making them suitable for use in various plumbing and heating applications.

PPH pipes are known for their excellent chemical resistance, particularly against acids, alkalis, and organic solvents, making them suitable for industrial piping systems where chemical resistance is critical.
