SJZ80/156 Conical Twin-Screw Extruder

Description

The Conical Twin-Screw Extruder is a key component in the production of PVC pipes or PVC profiles. Its primary function is to melt, mix, and push the raw plastic materials through a die to form the desired shape of the pipe or profile.
The Conical Twin-Screw Extruder achieves this by using two intermeshing screws within a conical barrel. The screws rotate in opposite directions, propelling the plastic material forward while subjecting it to heat and pressure to melt and homogenize the plastic mixture. This process helps to ensure that the resulting pipe has consistent properties and dimensions.
Additionally, the extruder may also incorporate additives, such as colorants or stabilizers, into the plastic mixture during the extrusion process.
